Your future is unwritten. 📖 I read something r Your future is unwritten. 📖 I read something recently and I can’t for the life of me remember where, so if you read this post and it triggers your memory (because you came across it too) then let me know! But basically, the gist of it was, read the type of writing that you ultimately want to write. In other words, if you want to be a fiction novelist in the future, spend your spare time reading fiction books. Likewise, if you want to be a blog writer, read other people’s blogs. It sounds simple but this really helps you learn the style and tone of the writing subconsciously so that you can excel when it comes to putting the theory into practise. Does it work? Well, I’ll let you know. I’ve always wanted to publish my own book and I love to read so I’m reading as many books as possible in the hopes that I’ll get there one day. 🤞 Although, once upon a time four years ago, I said I wanted to blog for other companies after falling in love with blogging for myself. So, I consumed what felt like every blog in sight. I studied. I practised. I honed my craft. And now I’m ghostblogging for big companies that people have heard of, and it feels good that I worked my way up to this 100% by myself. A lot of people get lucky when starting a new business, but I have always been self-taught. I work hard for what I want and I go after it, no questions asked. And this makes it so much more satisfying when I eventually achieve the goals I’ve set for myself. (And then I just end up setting myself more, but that’s another story...) The bottom line is that you have to fight your way through the battlefield that is entrepreneurship to truly get where you wish to be. Because then when you win, big or small, the victory tastes all that sweeter. ♥️ You’ve got this! #writingcommunityofinstagram #writingcommunityofig

Setting boundaries is so important as a new busine Setting boundaries is so important as a new business owner. As well as preventing burnout, boundaries can help to protect your mental health and ensure that the time you spend at work is productive yet happy. 🤗 Here are 5 boundaries you should set today to improve your everyday wellbeing: 1. Only work set hours and give yourself time to rest and do things you enjoy in between
